Important: Utah Ski Parking Alerts is an independent notification service operated by Wasatch Crest Holdings LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with Alta Ski Area, Solitude Mountain Resort, Brighton Resort, or any other ski resort, parking system, or reservation platform.
Independent Service
This Service operates independently and has no formal relationship, agreement, or partnership with any ski resort or parking reservation system. We monitor publicly observable information and have no special access, API agreements, or data-sharing arrangements with any resort or third-party platform.
Experimental Nature of Service
You acknowledge that this Service utilizes experimental methods to monitor third-party data sources. The availability and functionality of the Service depends entirely on third-party systems over which we have no control, agreement, or guaranteed access. The Service may cease to function at any time without notice due to changes in third-party systems. By using this Service, you accept these inherent limitations and uncertainties.
Best-Effort Service
Utah Ski Parking Alerts provides notifications about parking availability on a best-effort basis. This Service is provided as a CONVENIENCE ONLY and is not essential or critical. We make no guarantees whatsoever about:
- Alert Timing: The speed at which you receive alerts after availability changes
- Availability Accuracy: The accuracy of parking availability information at any given moment
- Service Uptime: Continuous, uninterrupted operation of the monitoring service
- Reservation Success: Your ability to secure a parking reservation after receiving an alert
- Data Freshness: How current the availability information is at any given time
- Completeness: Whether all availability changes are detected and reported
No Guarantee of Parking
Receiving an alert does not guarantee you will be able to purchase a parking reservation. Parking inventory can sell out within minutes, sometimes seconds. Multiple users may receive alerts simultaneously for the same availability. By the time you act on an alert, the parking may no longer be available. You should always have a backup plan for parking.
Third-Party Dependency and Service Continuity
Critical Notice: Our service depends entirely on third-party systems, platforms, and data sources over which we have no control. This includes ski resort websites, parking reservation platforms, and their underlying technology providers.
We have no control over:
- Changes to resort websites, booking systems, or underlying platforms
- Third-party terms of service, policies, or technical requirements
- Resort parking policies, pricing, inventory, or availability
- Technical issues, outages, or changes on third-party platforms
- Accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data
- Access restrictions or blocking by third-party systems
Service Discontinuation: Third-party platforms may, at any time and for any reason, restrict, block, or prohibit our access to their systems or data. If this occurs, we may be required to immediately modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, with or without notice.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice
- We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation
- No cash refunds will be issued if the Service is modified, suspended, or discontinued (service credits may be provided at our sole discretion for extended outages affecting paid subscribers)
- You should not rely solely on this Service for parking needs
- Third-party restrictions are outside our control and may require immediate service changes
Monitoring Limitations
Our monitoring system checks availability at regular intervals:
- Free tier: Every 60 minutes
- Standard tier: Every 15 minutes
- Pro tier: Every 5 minutes
Availability changes that occur and revert between checks may not trigger alerts. Parking that sells out between checks will not generate an "available" alert. The intervals above are targets and may vary due to system load or other factors.
Data Accuracy Disclaimer
Parking availability information displayed by this Service is obtained from third-party sources and is provided strictly "as is." We do not independently verify this information and make no representations about its accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness.
You acknowledge that:
- Availability data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate
- Displayed availability may not reflect actual real-time conditions
- Third-party systems may contain errors or outdated information
- You must verify availability directly with the resort before making decisions
- Reliance on any information provided by this Service is at your sole risk
Service Interruptions
The Service may be temporarily or permanently unavailable due to:
- Scheduled or unscheduled maintenance
- Technical issues or infrastructure failures
- Third-party service outages (SMS providers, email services, cloud infrastructure)
- Network or connectivity problems
- Circuit breaker activation due to repeated failures
- Changes or restrictions by third-party platforms
- Legal or regulatory requirements
- Business decisions
We strive to minimize interruptions but do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage. Service credits may be provided at our sole discretion for outages exceeding 6 hours for paid subscribers. No cash refunds will be issued for service interruptions.
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Acting quickly on alerts if you want to secure a parking reservation
- Having a backup plan for parking in case alerts don't arrive or parking sells out
- Verifying availability directly on the resort's official website before making any decisions
- Ensuring your contact information is accurate and up to date
- Understanding that this Service is a convenience tool, not a guaranteed parking solution
- Reading and understanding our Terms of Service
Not a Substitute for Direct Booking
This Service is a convenience tool to help you monitor availability. It is not a substitute for:
- Regularly checking resort reservation systems directly
- Booking parking in advance when available
- Planning alternative transportation options
- Arriving early at resorts with first-come parking
- Using resort shuttles, carpooling, or public transportation
Limitation of Liability
MAXIMUM LIABILITY CAP. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF WASATCH CREST HOLDINGS LLC FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THIS SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00 USD), REGARDLESS OF THE NATURE OF THE CLAIM OR THE NUMBER OF CLAIMS.
COMPLETE EXCLUSION OF CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WASATCH CREST HOLDINGS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Missed alerts, delayed notifications, or failure to deliver alerts
- Inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or missing availability information
- Inability to secure a parking reservation for any reason
- Alternative transportation costs (rideshare, taxi, shuttle, rental car)
- Missed ski days, lift tickets, lessons, or other recreational activities
- Lodging, travel, or accommodation costs
- Lost wages or time
- Emotional distress or disappointment
- Service interruptions, modifications, suspensions, or discontinuation
- Changes to or restrictions by third-party platforms
- Any other direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. You acknowledge that these limitations reflect a reasonable allocation of risk and are a fundamental element of the basis of the bargain. The Service would not be provided without such limitations.
Indemnification
By using this Service, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wasatch Crest Holdings LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or reliance on information provided by the Service.
Release and Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release and forever discharge Wasatch Crest Holdings LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action of any kind, whether known or unknown, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. You expressly waive any benefits of any law that would otherwise limit this release to claims actually known at the time of acceptance.
Assumption of Risk
By using this Service, you acknowledge that you understand and accept all risks associated with relying on third-party data for parking decisions. You agree that Wasatch Crest Holdings LLC is not responsible for any consequences of your reliance on this Service.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT. BY USING THIS SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:
- This Service is provided as a CONVENIENCE ONLY and is not essential or critical
- You have read and understood these limitations
- These limitations are fair and reasonable given the nature and price of the Service
- You would not have access to this Service without agreeing to these limitations
- You assume all risk associated with using or relying on this Service
